- high winds in Alberta cause widespread damage such as snapping trees and power poles in half, blowing over trucks, and sending residents to their basements
- flooding rains in Toronto
- extreme warmth (high teens or mid 60’s in F) with rain from southern Quebec through the Maritimes where there may be thunderstorms as well.
It’s now in the 20’s (near 70 on the old F scale) in parts of Quebec, and likely to stay that warm overnight
