Wind Power Density Maps
ideal wind density for wind power?

I was looking at a wind density map this evening. Am I safe to assume that the DOE #4 rating would be excellent for wind power generation?

I think the wind driven power generating electricity is dependent on the wind speed or velocity in technical terminology.
The following article explains the general concepts of how wind mill generates electricity, step by step.

The air density is encountered in wind mill generating energy.

The ideal wind power energy is showed in the following chart.
