Diy Wind Turbines
Will this mini wind turbine work?

I want to make a diy mini wind turbine.
I took the motor of my old rc car and placed a 10 inch fan on it and I connected a wire on both of the positive and negative terminals of the motor, and connected both of the other ends of the wire to the + and – terminals of a 3V small light bulb.
But when the fan is spinning fast the light bulb doesn’t light.
Is there something wrong?
is the motor used inappropriate?

A motor isn’t really a generator or alternator. You will get an induced voltage and current flow out of a motor such as you described, but not much. You’d have better luck using an old alternator or generator out of an actual car. It IS possible that the motor from your rc car is no good too
