Solar Power Japan
Will the government here start supporting solar power like in Japan, Germany soon?

If our state and feds would give bigger rebates, we could all get off the grid, I want to do this but iam not rich, any tips???

Ah, both japan and Germany get most of their energy from nuclear power.

They are using alternative energy sources to try and replace what few fossil fuel power plants they have left.

Even with 100% implication, solar power, wind power would be hard pressed to supply 10% of America;s energy needs.

That still leaves 90% to supply, which is almost entirely fossil fuel based today.

We still need to replace the fossil fuel power plants and the only affordable alternative, is nuclear power.

EDIT:

About solar power.

A 2,000 watts home solar system, will provide 2,000 watts of elec power per year.

A 2,000 watts system cost $20,000.

The average home uses between 1500 and 2500 watts of power per month.

So for $20,000 you can reduce your elec bill by $100 a year.

The cost of the war wouldn’t have made a dent in US energy consumption, even if it had been all used for solar power.

* Japan makes electric bike that goes 93 miles per hour and over 100 miles a charge!
